In 1977 Ed Wilgus began the journey that would create Wilgus Insurance Agency with himself, his wife, and his two daughters. Growing the business one client at a time, he built this business to 5 locations across the Delmarva Peninsula. In 1986 at the age of just 18 years old Susan Wilgus-Murphy became a licensed agent and continued working in the family business and never looked back. Susan and Ed worked side by side for 20 years until Susan took over the agency and still is the current owner.

Fast forward to 2021 and we still proudly serve the Delmarva Peninsula. We have 4 locations that offer Personal Insurance, Business Insurance and Financial Planning. Our 44 year long journey is only the beginning. At Wilgus Insurance, we believe in building long term relationships and looking after your insurance needs at every stage of life.
