THE WORST LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY EVER! I HAD TO MAKE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN LESS THAN A MONTH REPEATEDLY ASKING FOR THE CORRECT FILING PAPERS ONLY TO FIND MYSELF THREE MONTHS IN EMPTY HANDED AND WITHOUT ANY MAIL OR PHONE CALL OR ANY RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE ANALYST COMPLETELY IGNORE THE CLIENTS QUESTIONS,CONCERNS, AND NEGLECT TO PROFFESSIONALY RESOLVE INCONVENIENCES. HORRIBLE INSURANCE COMPANY.ALL THE COMPANY WANTS TO DO IS CASH IN ALL THE MONEY. ULTIMATELY STEAL YOUR MONEY

I wrote a letter in June with my new overseas address and your acknowledgement came just now in October. The reason might be that my new address from overseas has been wrongly understood and “corrected” so to look like English name. Please, not everything is English speaking world so copy it exactly as I wrote – K Lipe and not K Line. I also wanted to know what is position of my investment. Thank you

My grandmother passed away January 21 2021. We called 7 or 8 times still to get no information except yes she has a policy yes they spelled her name wrong yes her social was wrong no they couldn’t search DOB or address. So when we finally figured out the misspelling and found her policy they made us guess the beneficiary. When we figured out it was my cousin I gave them contact info for him that they didnt have they never contacted him after they said they would. He kept trying to call just for their line to keep saying the number you dialed can not be reached. When he finally got a hold of them they said they couldn’t give him info either they said they needed a death certificate when we explained we needed the insurance to bury our grandmother she couldn’t wait 6 weeks, they then turned around and said they needed proof from the funeral home that she was diseased. I called the funeral home and told them the exact form that Vantis Life Insurance company asked for they said they never heard of this this was on friday Jan 24th. We couldn’t do services until the following friday Jan 31st due to insurance we didnt even have a chance to do a wake and funeral because the day they released whatever to the funeral home on that Wednesday friday was the last day we could have a open casket. So my opinion do not use this company! Ever!

First we had to chase after forms. Then they told us it would be 10-14 days for payment of death benefit. Called back two weeks later and was now told it was 10-14 BUSINESS days. Fine. Two more weeks goes by so we call again. This time we wait on hold for 30 minutes for the “next available representative” to take our call. But instead of getting a representative we get a voicemail recording, “This is Kristin. Please leave a message.” Really?! And to top it off we don’t get to leave a message…it disconnects us! Unbelievable! It’s bad enough to lose your loved one. People shouldn’t have to go through such frustrations trying to get the claim paid.

UPDATE: The same day we posted this review we received a call from someone at Vantis apologizing for our experience. We then received our claim check within two days. She seemed genuinely concerned about our experience and said that Vantis would look into it.

If you receive a call from Eric Hood, HANG UP!!!!

He is disrespectful in every professional aspect!!

He called repeatedly, multiple times a day.

When I told him I did NOT request information, he blamed me for “waisting a lot of people’s time”.

And hung up on me.

Then when I tried to confront him, he wouldn’t take my calls.

Whatever he’s connected to IS NOT LIGIT!!!!!

If I could rate zero stars I would. I’m almost 100% sure this place is a scam. My husband has been trying to claim a payment benefit since mid October. It’s now December (almost January!) and still nothing. Every time he reaches out to them he’s on hold for at least 30 minutes then when he can finally talk to someone he just keeps getting told it will be another 7-12 business days. Absolutely ridiculous! I’m sorry for anyone who loses a loved one then has to deal with this horrible company.

**UPDATE 2/5/22** It is now February and my husband has STILL not received anything from this company. He follows up with them at least every other day and is told nothing but excuses and lies.

I have for small policies for my adult son’s . I needed to transfer ownership of the policies. I spoke with a representative named Ashley who was so helpful, friendly, kind and made the process so simple and easy to do! Thank you Ashley for all your help they need more employees at Vantis Life that are like you; you deserve recognition and a raise. Great job keep up the good work!
