Sarah Austin is the worst claim representative. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets bonuses based on all of her valid claim denials. UPC doesn’t ever pay out their claims. They lie, use unlicensed/uninsured 3rd parties, omit facts, and twist things to find every loophole not to pay your claim. SCAM! STAY AWAY! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR PREMIUMS, NOT PAY YOUR CLAIMS, THEN DROP YOU. SCAMMERS AND THIEVES. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Since August, when I filed my claim, it’s basically been ZERO communication from my adjusters. I’ve also had 3. Each time they were changed no one contacted me. I have gone MONTHS without speaking to someone. One of my loss of use claims was supposed to take “two days” and it’s now been a MONTH and I haven’t heard anything and haven’t gotten in touch with anyone about it. It’s frustrating and unprofessional, to say the least.

The adjuster is very timely to keep me informed on the steps of the claims. he is also very patient to explain what is being covered versus what is not. He also went above and beyond to educate me things to look out for in order to reduce the risk to the house

Best insurance company and claims agent we’ve ever had. Much better than USAA that has gone downhill as per many of us former insureds. UPC is the best way to go for us in Florida.

We had our house roof damaged due to hail storm and UPC claims person was very responsive to get the appraiser quickly and process the claim. They also responded to all my questions and I was indeed very happy to have a home insurance policy with UPC

This company is a fraud. I have been waiting over 4 months for a refund of $996 for a cancelled policy. I have been lied to about a check being sent out three different times. My insurance agency got the same run a round. I guess my next stop is the Attorney Generals Office and a class action suit since I have been informed that there are at least 5 other previous policy holders who are still waiting for refunds. Oh, and let me state that the letter I received from UPC acknowledging my cancellation and stating I was due a refund of $996 would be issued within 15 days. That was in November of 2021. At least I never had to file a claim with them, I am sure that never would have been paid either. Do yourself a favor and get a trust worthy insurance company. Couldn’t give no stars in order to post.

Recently had to file a claim with UPC and our adjuster was great! She explained the process fully and just made the experience so easy. It was our first time having to file a claim with UPC insurance. The positive experience with the claim strengthens my trust in UPC insurance! I would recommend this company to anyone for their property insurance.
