Customer service is terrible, my account was froze and they act like its a secret. I need to know whats going on with my money, why is that so hard. Also, it has been a hassle trying to withdraw my money, I understand its a process but the process should not take longer than a month of me leaving my previous job. I have been through this process before and it was super easy and smooth.

Where to begin? After having this policy for over 15 years, they started sending correspondence to an arbitrary address that has never been associated with me. Not sure who got my personal information. Have they heard of HIPAA? Then they declined my automatic payments from my bank and canceled my policy. After many, many hours on hold/talking to (nice) customer service, writing and emailing, they agreed to reinstate my policy if I sent them a check. They returned the check. After many more hours, they apologized and asked me to resend it. Which I did and policy was reinstated. A few months later, they started returning my checks and canceled my policy again, which I later got reinstated. I just realized today that my April and May payments have been returned and I have been on hold with Transamerica for 23 minutes. This policy is term insurance and will end in 2 years with my intention to protect my youngest until she graduates from college. I probably will never need it unless Transamerica related stress gives me a heart attack.
