Run – Don’t walk away from this company. They fight legitimate claims from day one.
Spend a little more money and go with a better, national brand like Allstate or Auto Owners, or accept the fact that you’ll have to fight them every step of the way to pay for any legitimate claim.
I unfortunately crashed my car and totaled my vehicle. I had a check in hand within days and was able to get into a new car within a week. I was more than happy with their claim service.
This company takes your money and does not want to honor claims if they are over certain amounts. They retaliated against my business for filing a damage claim for our truck which it’s value 60k.
The adjuster tried to have me sign a document agreeing to 15k to repair 40k in damages using my desperation to get the vehicle as a weapon against me. Ultimately I filed a racial indifference complaint to the CEO who did honor my claim but still allowed his employees to flag my company for claim history over 1 incident concerning my truck. The other wa lightning how can I stop lightning from striking and damaging my property.
I was involved in a car accident that was NOT my fault. Dealing with April, my adjuster was a HORRIBLE experience. I had to constantly check in with her on where we were on things. I had to contact an attorney because they denied my claim! The worst insurance company EVER!!!!!!
Ok so, If I could give this company 1/2 of a star, I would. This is the worst insurance company out there. My roof has wind damage. I had a great roof contractor come out because the claims agent would not get on the roof. He took pictures and said it was wind damage and wrote up an estimate. Brenda the claims agent was told that she needed to go on the roof and inspect with the contractor. So, after her inspection she stated that they would pay for 1/2 of the roof and that the flat part of the roof did not have damage. I said, well what if we have wind or hail damage in the near future? She said that we would not because wind comes from the west. I did not know she was also a meteorologist. I called the agency that had set us up with Michigan Insurance Company and they contacted her boss and went back and forth. In the end the mediocre, at best, insurance company will only cover half a roof. So I say to anyone who is reading this do NOT go with this company. You will be sorry.
Closed my policy on June 10th. Final payment May 10th. August get an audit letter I was receiving a $433 overpaid check. They took all but a dollar and change and said it was applied to the 6 month premium balance even though policy was canceled. Do not use.
Our insurance cost went down and we actually have better coverage. Our agent considered our personal needs and found the best policy for our family. Highly recommend this agency!
