I trust lighthouse so much with our money. We went from one account six years ago to them handling all our money. I am taking my daughter who is very successful to meet with Wendy. She owns savannah blinds and wants personal financial aid.

I purchased the equipment breakdown addendum to my insurance policy instead of a home warranty policy. My refrigerator broke down a week ago, and I called a refrigerator technician out. He comes out. He tells me that the compressor was bad, and cannot not be purchased. The refrigerator model is obsolete. It is apparently a known issue with the kind of refrigerator I have/had. So I have to buy another refrigerator. I called Lighthouse, and a claims adjuster calls me 3 days later. I explain to her what happened and complied with sending her my invoice & the technician number so they can give him a call. She tells me that I have to hold on to the refrigerator all the while more of my food is spoiling. She does not know when the 3rd party that Lighthouse uses to handle the equipment breakdown will call me. I tell her that I have no way of keeping an extra refrigerator and hauling off the thing. I explained to her that I have to have somewhere to put my food. She tries to argue with me. I hung up the phone. I seriously doubt they will honor their policy. BEWARE of the equipment breakdown addendum. I don’t think its worth it. And yes, I went ahead and purchased a refrigerator. We are a family of 4!! We need food to survive!!!!!
