If you’re looking to insure a classic boat, or any boat from the 50’s, 60’s or 70’s — no matter how carefully and thoroughly restored–don’t bother. Response from the agent: “I am not able to provide insurance quotes due to the age of the vessel.” I was able to successfully get quotes from several companies “represented” by this agent by going around them.
