I’ve had my vehicles insured through Alaska Service Agency for almost 20 years, and they’ve helped me get the best insurance at the lowest cost the entire time. I am currently insured with Umialik – who has been great to work with as well. In the past, when a better rate would come available, they would notify me to see if I’d like to switch which insurance company I was using at the time. They’ve been great to work with.

My partner and I started a snow removal business in 2020 and Kim was extremely helpful getting everything we needed between GL, Commercial Auto, and workers Comp. Her patience and understanding of the process made things go so smoothly. I will say in comparison the pricing is higher to others but the customer service and knowledge of commercial policies Alaska Service Agency supercedes any other.

Kimberly is the definition of a work horse. She responded quickly, communicated clearly, and made the process easy for my first time obtaining insurance as a new business. She was available both by email and phone and I didn’t wait longer than an hour or two for a response which helped expedite things so quickly. Excellent Customer service! Shelby was terrific in getting my insurance needs set up. The quote was a good value compared to other companies of the same or better coverage. My mortgage company dropped the ball on the transfer of insurance and Teresa was great in following up with me to make sure we got the policy transferred over without issue. Alaska Service Agency has been my go-to for insurance brokerage needs for years now. They were the only ones that could get me a quick, reasonable policy in place for our remote, no-road-access cabin. They’re long-suffering when it takes me a month to get photos of the building due to breakup or freeze-up. They understand Alaska!

Most recently, I needed coverage for a multi-use building that included a vacation rental unit. It was far beyond the scope of several companies I’d called but ASA was able to get the coverage quoted, written and bound in an impossibly short amount of time. All while communicating clearly and courteously.
