STAY AWAY FROM ENCOMPASS !!! THEY ARE OWNED BY STATE FARM ! I had a ball joint blow out and cause some damage to my vehicle. I turned it into encompass to my insurance company. By the time it was alll said and done they paid about 200.00. Now my insurance bill went up 40.00 extra a month. I called they said it was because of my “accident”. I didn’t hit anyone or anything. I cost them about 200.00 and now they want to rip me off. Last accident I had was 1999 or so. I have NO tickets on my driver’s license. I haven’t had a ticket in over 12 yrs. They should have paid about 400.00 but they have failed to send my reimbursement for the tow bill. When I call them all I get is the run away. Stay away !!

Spoke with claims rep Steven Yi, this man was rude and extremely disrespectful during the intake of my claims conversation. I kept thinking to myself are these calls being recorded? He raised his voice several times during the conversation of the claim intake and kept looking for ways to deny my claim. He was the absolute worst claims rep and I would stay clear of this company. When we pay the insurance ipremium for coverage is a piece of mind knowing you have coverage in place in the event of a covered loss. Now when there is a claim how the company responds. is extremely important! Being nasty on the phone to customers will result in polices being cancelled and negative online reviews. Stay clear of this company.

This company is awful. Their insured rear ended me and I’ve been waiting for over a month to get my car fixed. They tried to tell me there was no way their insured could have hit me where the damage was even though she admitted to the police in a police report that she rear ended me and a worker inside of the restaurant we were at was the one who initiated the phone call, also giving me her insurance and apologizing. This has been an absolute nightmare working with these people, rude, ignorant, cheap, and downright scam artists. Your insurds pay for you to cover them when they have an accident, what do you want to do just collect money and not pay up when your drivers have incidents? I’d give 0 stars if I could. Additionally, their contact phone was disconnected when I tried to call so I couldn’t put my claim in ASAP, I had to dig for their number and then they tried to say it must not have been that big of an incident if I waited so long. Stay away from this insurance company!

ZERO STARS. I was hit by one of their clients, whom at the scene said he was the one at fault. Now magically “his story changed” and he’s only 60% at fault and I’m 40% at fault?! How the hell does that even make sense. I’ll tell you how, it doesn’t. All this company does is get their clients sued. Would not recommend going with them for your choice of insurance. And I send my sorry‘s to those who’ve had to deal with this horrible company.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Terrrible. I had to have my lawyer deal this matter. frfr it took a month to get my car fix. (No rental was given) The person who hit my PARKED CAR was insured by this company. They say they will do one thing and did another and then had my dealership keep my car hostage until they paid for it. It took 30 calls and 12 voice messages for them to send over $$$ so my car can be released to me. I go to pick up my cAr and they still talking about they didn’t get the money 🤷🏽‍♀️ I want my car back and no wasn’t answer. I got my car back I hope they resolve the issue cuz I’m done but YESS IM STILL MAD!

They are not bad. They got my car claim approved when a hit and run happened to my vehicle. I also have homeowners insurance through them. I have never had ANY issues with them. If you are not at fault or scheming, you will ABSOLUTELY love this company. I left Geico for this company in a heart beat and do not regret it for a second.

My car was hit. I took it to a body shop. Encompass agreed to a quote for repairs from said shop. Once repairs were done, Encompass disputed the costs of the repair. The body shop won’t release my vehicle until Encompass pays for the work. I’ve been without a vehicle for 7 weeks now, with no end in sight.

If you want to avoid any kind of hassle post incidence, avoid ENCOMPASS at any cost. its been more than 3 years now and they still have not close the case. Everytime they ask for some new documents from diffent agencies and they have standard answer, they are trying to get documents. Even if you put all the efforts to get what they need (not your responsibility) they will ask for something else from some different company, The WORST company ever I have deal with.

I have email chains from 3 years with insurance adjuster Paul Augsburg and eveytime he comes up with the some new document requirement with different agencies..

AVOID THEM AT ALL COST, IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY INSURED WITH THEM SWITCH TO NEW INSURANCE COMPANY AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM HASSLE!!!

DO NOT EVER WORK WITH BRIAN from this company. If you are contatced by him I HIGHLY recommend immediately asking for a new point of contact.

I was hit by an encompass insurance holder and he took over a month to get back to me, called me at very imappropiate times (i.e very late in the evening), would need me to call 7-10 times before returning my call once. VERY rude and horrific customer service. Would never suggest this company to my worst enemy.

Adjuster Mitch Sabat has been a nightmare to work with. Would not answer or return calls for 3 days after accident. Had to work with another adjuster just to get the ball rolling. He didn’t accept liability until he had a police report which was available online. He said he didn’t have it so I did his job for him in 2 minutes and sent the report. They did not come out to Ohio to even see the vehicle. He tried to say he would only pay 1500 for 6k in damage. This adjuster is the type that gives the industry a bad name. Literally would have had better luck if a 3 year old was the adjuster. If you get in a wreck w someone who has them, be ready for a fight. Will definitely not recommended this company for a policy due to the rude customer service.
