I’ve had my Erie Insurance vehicle and homeowner policies since 2001. I was with another Erie agent, and Catawba Valley Insurance Agency bought their business (in 2003?) when the other agency closed due to that owner changing professions. I was initially apprehensive about my policies being taken over by an agency unknown to me, but I shouldn’t have been, as CVIA has always been professional and friendly. I’ve had a few claims over the years, and my Mom had a homeowner’s claim from the tornadoes in Oct 2017, and I have been very pleased with how they’ve been handled – so pleased that I’ve referred several friends and family members to them for insurance over the years. If anyone mentions a policy renewal coming up, or an upcoming purchase of a new car or home, I’m always bragging on CVIA. Their new office, on LR Blvd, is decorated with many service awards from Erie Insurance – and deservedly so! Although I think Erie is their main line, they also represent Progressive and National General, so more than likely they can find you great coverage at a reasonable price.
As of 6-22-2020 I visited this location and the Agent by the name of Frank Morales was very friendly and very professional. Frank help and also explain to my husband and I about Auto & homeowner insurance he was very helpful. I most definitely would recommend family & friends to this insurance agency.
