I’ve been emailing & calling, including the marketing email below, with no response what so ever. Claim 20212588. Can someone please get back to me?

Had a claim opened going 9 days. Inspector came out same day to take pictures and no one came to fix the issue. A busted pipe that flooded the house. No water in the house for 9 days and no solution provided to date. Horrible service. Left voice mails and no response to this day.

Contacted Avatar on 12/21/21 about weather related roof damage. Inspection done 12/21. Tried contacting someone several times with no luck. Spoke to agent one time on 1/2/22. Got excuse about extra volume due to December storm. Finally received outcome from new agent on 1/6/22. Agreed to replace roof and sent their contractor’s estimate and info. Emailed on 1/7/22 that we would use our own roofer. Was told on 1/7/22 I would receive a general contract to sign and notarize. Spoke with agent on 1/9/22 who assured me I would see contract by 1/10. Still no contract and no response yet again.

I have never been so frustrated filing a claim with an insurance company. It has been approximately seven weeks since notification of damage and I still do not know the status (whether the damage is covered). It has been nearly impossible to even speak with the Claim Manager to know what they are planning, if anything, or if I need to make the repairs myself. Meantime, my condo still sits empty. Major lack of communication, not to mention lack of urgency to resolve the issues.
