Sorry but I can’t delete this post. My insurance is with St Johns Insurance Company not St Johns Insurance Agency. This was posted to the wrong company.

We have a homeowners insurance policy with St Johns and we had wind damage. They processed the claim expeditiously and issued a check. And when I say they issued a check, that is all they issues. I did not receive any but a white piece of paper with my home address and a check. No estimate of the damage, no calculations how they arrived at the amount, nothing. Then I called the claims adjuster on Thursday at 11:33AM and his voicemail said any messages left before noon would be returned the same day. Guess what no call back on Thursday or Friday. I did call again on Friday and as I noted I have not heard back from my adjuster. This is not the customer service that I would have expected from my insurance carrier. Hopefully I hear back from someone.

Absolutely the worst insurance company you could ever deal with. We used to be with St. John’s Insurance Company and these folks took over. That’s where the service went downhill fast. The handling of our accounts by Holly has been one mistake after another. For nearly a half a year we thought we had flood insurance on our new property to find out that it was not insured at all! Now I’m finding out that the new owners of our old house do not have a flood policy in their name either, since it is still in our name! We all signed a document to transfer it to their name and Accentria (Holly) never sent it! So basically if they were to have a claim they would be uninsured! Avoid this company at all costs. They are incompetent.

I have been a customer for years – originally with St Johns Insurance . Since Acentria took over their customer service is extremely poor. They are unresponsive , lack followup , it’s completely frustrating getting a simple task completed. You have to call and email and leave several messages . I will be canceling my policies with them and renewing elsewhere . Stay away unless you want to be frustrated, there are a lot of better agencies out there.

Also their lack of followup cost one of my policies to lapse, I had no idea and under St Johns management they always made sure that didn’t happen and called me! Now they have no one following up or assisting you , when I asked why they said its not their responsibility. Well it should be as my agent .
