Absolute terrable cancelled my insurance because I made a change to it from employed to unemployed after losing my job no help on the phone and no one knows what there doing oh and received notification by txt saying they have just cancelled my insurance please stay away from these cowboys also go skippy but to be honest they all seem to be part of the same company and with two months left on my policy so now I have to declare I’ve had a policy cancelled what a joke

Avoid this company they cancelled my insurance after an accident I couldn’t avoid and are making me pay for everything. They will find and loophole to make you pay. Their customer service will not do anything to assist you don’t waste your time.

Worst company. In case of an incident where obviously you are not at fault, they are keeping you accountable. They are defending the third party driver.

Applied for a job with these Muppets as they advertised remote working – more or less at the end of the interview they said it was solely office based, wasted 30 minutes of my time. They should be fined for false advertising as the was clearly misleading.

Worse Insurance! They call me one month ago saying that they received a claim against me. They told me the area where the “accident” was and I never pass that area. They said the driver who “ I hit” is saying that I hit him with a ford transit but my one is Mercedes sprinter and full of signs around. The next day I called them to ask for more details and they told me they have no claims in which I’m involved so I presume that probably the day before was a scam.

Now, after one month they send me an email saying I haven’t respond about the claim.

SHOCKING!! I brought insurance through go skippy and made a mistake with my no claims which i will agree was my fault. But how they dealt with it was totally wrong! No chance to put right the policy or anything they just cancelled my policy and are charging me nearly the same for 1month and cancellation fee as the whole 12month policy was

Cancelled my friend’s policy after 2 days and told to contact the underwriter for clarification…useless and they also claiming a further payment of approx.£50, apart from the approx.£100 already paid as deposit, which apparently is the £35 cancellation fee and the rest should probably be the cost for not even 2 days….while insurance for the whole year costs £600…ripoffs…these guys and their underwriter Somerset Bridge Group.

Update: 03 January 2022: gossipy sent the cost breakdown for the approx. £150 asked for 1.5 days and stated: £35 cancellation fee, £50 direct debit fee, SOMERSET wants approx. £100 for the 1.5 days worth of insurance, some other idiotic fees and £55 discount. They acknowledged the deposit of approx. £100 and claiming there are approx. £50 still to be paid.

Conclusion: AVOID these scammers If you care about your money and if you like being treated with respect.

Funny how the FCA and Trading Standards allow anyone to trade…I suppose it’s all about money and nothing about the consumer.

STAY AWAY FROM SOMERSET BRIDGE INSURANCE & GO SKIPPY. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE, DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Brought a car insurance policy through Money Supermarket. The broker is called Go Skippy, who is under Somerset Bridge Ltd.

Few days after, insurance was cancelled as it was apparently linked to a fraudulent application which was not the case at all. No details were given on how it was fraudulent, complete headache & waste of time.

Deposit was taken. Then they have the audacity to charge a fee of £154. No reason was given on what this charge was for just an “outstanding balance”.

After reading all these reviews under Somerset Bridge Ltd & Go Skippy it seems that they just want to steal genuine customers monies. You guys are disgusting, cancelling policies and claiming its fraudulent. Your reviews speak for themselves.

One thing I have learnt is to always look into the companies before purchasing a policy.

Absolutely shocking company, if I could give 0 stars I would!! Hide behind what you think is insurances like GoSkippy and other insurances so you can’t even contact them and the whole insurance group is the same. You’ll take out the insurance then cancel your policy days later for insufficient proof of address, even AFTER sending documents to them and then charge you a £75 fee. So in this case I’ve lost nearly 40% of my insurance to a fee of them cancelling my insurance for no reason. One big scam of a company looking not to insure people but charge you cancellations fees. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS ALL INSURANCES ASSOCIATED WITH SOMERSET BRIDGE ARE AWFUL AND A BIG SCAM!!!!

Absolute robbers. Their insured driver wrote my car off and then they offer about a grand less than what can be replaced. They then up their offer only to tell me their staff member ballsed it up and indeed their offer remained the same. Save your sanity and don’t bother arguing with them. No complaints process for third party claimants. Con merchants of the highest degree!
