Poor customer service, claim for dishwasher replacement payment over a month and counting. Hang on in a queue in excess of an hour no reply, emails at least 10 days to acknowledge. Not good

Avoid. Took money twice, cover was started from wrong date, then randomly get a letter asking for more details than a mortgage company would ask for despite all documents provided at application stage. Eventually gave up and managed to find a reputable company at almost half the price!

DO NOT WORK HERE!! I didn’t even survive a year at this awful place. The micro management and pressure that is put upon you is not good for your health – I and a few others were absolutely miserable to the point where mental health was a worry. Handed my notice in with immediate leave and no job to go to as I was so desperate to get out.

If you are looking to insure with ageas whether that be home or car insurance, take your business somewhere else. Seeing first hand the exclusions and small details that can cause you to not be covered is ridiculous – any chance to not pay out and they take it.

Expect to be on hold for minimum 45 minutes before they pick up the phone. Honestly, you have more chance of communicating with the dead than this company. I have attempted to call them several times over the last two months and have had to wait on average for 45 minutes on hold. Please, use another company – it is not worth saving £40 on your insurance as you will spend that on your phone calls!!!

Making a claim made so difficult. i had a large flood in my open plan hall and lounge i have had insurance for about 8 years and never had cause to claim before now thank God . A burst hot water pipe in the flat above mine caused a lot of damage to my stairwell landing and floor as well as the ceiling and walls . I have just got off the phone yet again to Ageas a woman called Helen only to be told they would only cover the cost to repaint one wall !!!! so the rest of the hall will be different !!!!!????? They sent an accessor to my home and he said yes definitely he would be passing the report to verify the damage to the floors. I can not agree that painting just the walls with direct damage can be right while leaving the rest as it is so the whole hall will be one thing in one place and another elsewhere what a bad service and i will be ending my insurance with them they made it all seem so easy while i was only paying in not so quick to help if you have to claim (If you get Helen on the phone ask for someone else)
