Road to Los Angeles
As long as Las Vegas lies in the desert areas, the best for traveling comes in early Spring and late Fall. Take a rental car at Las Vegas Airport and navigate to the City of Angels by Interstate 15. Calico Ghost Town
The small town of Calico lurked exactly halfway to Los Angeles. In the 19th century, the city prospered due to the birthplace of precious metals. There were shops, bars, restaurants, and even a local newspaper. Then, Calico turned into a ghost town. In 1951, it opened for visitors as a museum. You can even try to find silver in local mines!

Just make sure to check the schedule ahead of your journey. This museum is 236 miles from Las Vegas, and the drive requires almost 3 hours of your time.
Las Vegas to Denver
The route takes about 14 hours by car. That is in case you drive without having rest. Some people love just hitting the road. However, there is a better plan with plenty of places to visit on your way to Denver.
Angels Landing
Angels Landing is a legendary hiking trail in Utah’s Zion National Park that ends up at the height of 454 m. The main interest here is not to look at it from the side but to climb up to the very top, where there is a natural 360-degree observation deck for the entire Zion Canyon. For the convenience of tourists, we recommend having a rest in Springdale. Thus you will sleep at night and be ready for a walk in the early morning.
Moab
Moab is not a big city that attracts outdoor enthusiasts of all types. Its location is halfway to Denver. Build the fastest route via I-15N. The vibe of that destination is uniques. Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park has always attracted the admiring eyes of Americans with the peaks of its Rocky Mountains. The third part of the National Park territory is above the forest border.
