How to draw a necklace: allow contact to form!

Stage 1

This focus on removing a chain will contain room for your designs later, but we’ll stick to the design we’ve prepared in this guide. This necklace will have beautiful sections of beads all the way around, and now we’ll draw the first one.

Start by drawing curved lines to create a rounded shape with two points at the top and bottom. This will form a leaf shape for the bead, and you can then draw a smaller replica of that shape inside of it. Once it’s drawn, you’ll be ready to add more in the next few steps!

Step 2: Draw some of these bead sections for your necklace.

Now that you’ve drawn the first bead sections for this necklace design, you’re ready to add more! In these two steps of the directory, you will draw two more leaf-shaped sections.

There will be one on each side of the first, which means using curved lines with sharp points at the top and bottom. They will be around the identical measurement as the best one, but the information will be negligibly more diagonal, as shown in the connection photo.

Step 3: Draw some more branches for the neck.

In this third quarter of our guide on drawing a necklace, we will add two more sections. Once again, you will create the same bead shape you used for the first beads and those in step two.

Like this second pair of beads, these will also be at a slightly diagonal angle. These will be further differentiated as they will be slightly smaller than the previous account sets. Other than that difference, they’ll be more or less the same, and once they’re drawn, we can move on to step 4 of the guide!

Step 4: Draw the following set of bead sections for the necklace.

This necklace design is already beautiful and elegant! We only have some final sections and details to add to the next steps, so let’s get started! Next, we will draw two more shapes that will be the same as the previous steps.

These will be smaller than the beads in steps 1-3 but slightly larger than the ones you drew. When they’re complete, we can start on the final details in the next step!

Step 5: Add Final Details to Your Necklace Drawing

Before adding colours in the last step of this guide on drawing a necklace, we will first add the metal strip to which the beads you have drawn will be attached. You can start this strip by drawing two small circles at each end. You can then draw the thin wire that extends into a curved shape so that all the beads will be attached.

Once it’s drawn, you’re ready to move on to the final step! Before you do, it’s your chance to add your decorations and ideas. These can range from adding additional beads and elements to creating your bead designs. How will you finish this amazing drawing?

Step 6: Finish the drawing of your necklace with colour.

This is the last part of the design for this necklace, and we’ll finish it with some colours. In our reference image, we show you just a set of colours that you can choose from. We’ve used a nice variety of bright colours like oranges, blues, and purples, so while you can also use similar colours, feel free to use your own colour choices!
